The Minute Clinic was founded in 2000 to serve the growing need for affordable, accessible and convenient healthcare. The Minute Clinic is a subsidiary of the CVS Corporation. The principle behind the Minute Clinic is that anyone 18 months or older can go into the clinic, be diagnosed and treated in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable amount of money. The Minute Clinic provides the following services/treatments:

Most all of the Minute Clinics operate 7 days a week. No appointment is necessary because everyone is seen on a first-come first-served basis. Most visits usually only take about 15 minutes. Patients visiting a Minute Clinic will be assessed by board certified nurse practitioners or physician assistants who will diagnose, treat and write a prescription if necessary.
